This policy is aligned with the South African Consumer Protection Act and applies to live bird transactions.
General Rule
- No refunds for change of mind
- All sales are final unless legally valid grounds exist
Eligible Refund Cases
- Incorrect breed delivered
- Wrong age or gender
- Bird arrives sick or injured (within 12–24 hours)
Non-Eligible Cases
- Change of mind
- Buyer mishandling
- Transport stress after acceptance
- Death on arrival

- Refunds & Returns will be processed in line with Zoogoloo Policy
Where a vendor is found responsible for a refund, return, or misrepresentation, they remain fully liable for associated costs including refunds and courier expenses. Zoogoloo may recover such costs from any available vendor balances. Where no funds are available, Zoogoloo reserves the right to suspend the vendor account and withhold the product/s until payment is received. All disputes are handled through Zoogoloo as the marketplace mediator and assessed on a case-by-case basis. Zoogoloo reserves the right to approve, decline, or partially settle any refund based on policy review.
